Hi, I'm Kristin, owner and operator of Kris Cros Diving!

 

I’m a PADI instructor, cave diver, marine biologist, and local cavern guide. I’m originally from Boston, MA but have lived and dived many places around the world. I've been fortunate to call Tulum my home for the past four years.

My diving journey began in 2009, when I completed my Open Water course in college while studying Marine Biology. Since then, scuba diving has allowed me to pursue many exciting jobs across the globe including: working as an aquarium diver in San Diego, a purser on a liveaboard boat in Australia, and a divemaster in Koh Tao, Thailand. I have been happily working as a full-time dive professional since 2016.

 

Upon moving to Tulum, I fell in love with the cenotes and the endless cave systems they contain. The cenotes of the Riviera Maya are such a unique environment, full of fascinating geological formations and breathtaking light displays. Getting cave certified has been the most
rewarding scuba experience thus far, and prepared me for cavern guiding confidently and safely.
